Come Fly With Us To Support Arts Programming
Buy tickets for Arts Quincy’s “Come Fly With Me” fundraiser. The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 7-10 pm at the Quincy Regional Airport. Guests will enjoy food, drinks, an art auction, dueling pianos, a live performance and more in the unique mid-century modern setting of the airport.
“We are looking forward to a fun-filled evening in this exclusive setting,” says Laura Wright, Arts Quincy Special Events Committee. “Guests are invited to come ‘dressed to fly’ and enjoy themselves as we raise funds to support Arts Quincy’s mission to bring the arts to everyone in Adams County. We will have dueling pianos, an art auction, wine pull, live entertainment and some surprises that will delight our guests.”
“The fundraiser will continue Arts Quincy’s 70+ year tradition of increasing arts access and awareness to the community,” says Executive Director Laura Sievert. “Together, we can increase our reach with more services to our 55 Partner Organizations, programs for children and adults, and expand access to those who are living below the poverty line, the differently-abled, military veterans, the elderly and minorities. Access is the key element in our long-range planning. We want every resident in the area to experience the amazing programming our partner organizations offer in art, music, theatre, history and more!”
Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased at the Arts Quincy office inside the Oakley Lindsay Center or online by clicking here. Can’t attend? Donations can be made by clicking here or by mailing a check to 300 Civic Center Plaza, Suite #244, Quincy, IL 62301.
