Great River Watercolor Society
The Great River Watercolor Society was founded to "perpetuate the practice of, and appreciation for, the fine art of water-based painting." The organization also works to increase artist’s skills through visiting artist workshops, lectures, critiques, demonstrations, and annual exhibitions. It is a support group for both the amateur and professional solitary artist. The group meets August through October and January through April at the Quincy University Brenner Library.
