Jackson-Lincoln Swimming Complex

Mission: To provide the youth and families of the City of Quincy and surrounding areas with a quality public swimming and recreational facility, particularly those of diminished socio-economic means.

In 1997, under the vision of generosity and goodwill of the late Mr. Bill Black, the Jackson–Lincoln Swimming Complex was created. Mr. Black felt it was his civic duty to do something to improve the quality of life of Quincy’s northwest neighborhoods. An ardent boater, Bill had noticed for years that minority and other disadvantaged youth of the northwest side would swim in Quinsippi Bay.
