Made in America Veterans Program Expands in Year Two
Arts Quincy, America’s first arts council, is pleased to announce the continuation of its Made in America program this fall. Now in its second year, the program provides area veterans free access to local arts and culture events and programs.
“This year the program is changing to offer more opportunities by giving additional options for classes, concerts or theater performances,” said Laura Sievert, Executive Director. “We have partnered with Quincy Art Center, Quincy Symphony Orchestra Association, Quincy Civic Music Association and Quincy Community Theatre to offer community veterans a wider variety of classes or performances to choose from. This will allow them to choose something that interests them and easily fits into their schedule.”
These local organizations have released (or are nearing the announcement) of their 2019-20 season schedules. There are ample opportunities for veterans to get involved and enjoy the local arts programming.
